Police have established a crime scene following a homicide in Mernda earlier this evening, Victoria Police say.
The incident occurred at a residential home on Ramez Street at 5pm.
A man in his 30s sustained serious injuries and died shortly after the incident.
A woman is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Homicide Squad detectives are enroute to the scene.
