Police investigate party stabbing near Campbelltown

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed during a brawl at a party in Sydney's south-west overnight.

About 3.30am (Sunday 23 August 2020), police were called to a home on Jamestown Avenue, Denham Court, near Campbelltown, after reports of a brawl.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound to his stomach on the street.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition. He injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A crime scene was established and is undergoing forensic examination.
