A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting incident in Point Cook last night (Feb 21).
The shooting took place on Spraypoint Drive just before 11pm.
Police have been told that the victim, a 53-year-old Point Cook man, was shot by an unknown offender who fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The victim was conveyed to hospital with serious head injuries.
Detectives have established a crime scene at the location and are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.
