Melbourne West police are investigating a credit card theft and subsequent deceptions in the Prahran area in October.
Investigators have been told a hand bag was stolen from a vehicle parked in Bourke Street Docklands sometime between 4.30pm and 4.50pm on 15 October.
Two credit cards were subsequently used at various locations around Prahran in the following hours.
Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
