Police and emergency services are currently on scene at a shooting in Red Cliffs, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a woman was located with what is believed to be a fatal gun-shot wound at a Snowy Avenue property about 12.30pm.
The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are yet to be determined however the death is currently being treated as suspicious.
Police believe parties involved are known to each other and the investigation is ongoing.
No arrests have been made yet at this stage.
