Police investigate Ringwood armed robbery

Eastern Region Crime Squad members are investigating following an armed robbery in Ringwood earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed three unknown men entered a fast food restaurant on the Maroondah Highway armed with a machete and a meat cleaver on Monday 14 November about 4.15am.

The trio made demands for money from staff members who handed over a quantity of cash.

The offenders then fled from the scene on foot in a northerly direction along New Street.

No one was injured during the incident.

Investigators have released images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
