Police investigate robbery at Runcorn

Police are seeking public assistance to find a man who may be able to assist in relation to a robbery in Runcorn on August 29.

Around 12.50pm a woman was approached by the man in Woorabinda Street who stole her handbag containing a large sum of cash.

The man ran along Warrigal Road into the carpark of Runcorn Plaza and was last seen in Kalanda Street.

He is described as approximately 180cm tall, medium build with dark black short curly hair shaved on the sides, a beard and wearing a blue shirt and dark coloured pants.

Police are yet to locate the man and appealing to the public to provide any information which may assist in the investigation.
