Police Investigate Sale Firearms Incident

Police are investigating two incidents of a firearm being discharged at a vehicle in Bolitho Court in Sale this month.

The first incident was at approximately 10:30pm on Sunday 22 March, while the second was at the same location at approximately 7:40am on Tuesday 24 March.

On both occasions the offender has attended the area on a motorcycle before discharging a firearm at a vehicle parked at the address.

On the second occasion a verbal altercation occurred outside between the offender and the occupants of a Bolitho Court address.

The offender then threatened the occupants with a firearm and fired it a number of times, impacting a parked vehicle, before leaving.

No one was injured during either incident.

Police are confident that both incidents are related, the parties are known to each other and that these are targeted attacks.

Investigators are currently searching for Tyren Smith who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
