Police investigate Southbank burglary

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance to identify a man and woman following a burglary at a Southbank hotel on 17 November.

Police have been told an unknown man and woman gained entry to a hotel room and stole two iPads and a watch between 6.50-8.10pm.

The male offender is described as thin build, approximately 30-45 years old, with shoulder length hair tied back with shaved sides.

He was wearing black 2XU brand tights, black shorts, a black top, black shoes and a silver coloured chain.

The female offender is described as medium build, approximately 30-40 years old, wearing a black knee-length jacket, grey pants, black peaked cap, and grey and white shoes.

Investigators have released an image of a man and woman that may be able to assist with their enquiries.
