A man and woman are assisting police with enquiries after a stabbing at an address in Selby this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is believed an altercation between known parties took place at the residence on Ronald Street about 1.30am.
One of the men was stabbed and has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated and no charges have been laid at this stage.
No one else is outstanding in relation to the incident and the scene is contained.
