Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a stabbing which occurred in Whittington last night
Emergency services were called to parkland near Apollo Place about 11.30pm.
On arrival they located a woman, believed to be in her 20s, with a stab wounds to her leg.
She has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a crime scene has been established.
At this stage there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
