Police investigate stalking incident in St Albans

Brimbank Sex Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) continue to investigate a stalking incident in St Albans on 17 June and recently on 7 July, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a woman was walking from the St Albans train station on Main Road East on 17 June when an unknown man yelled out to her about 10pm.

The man was wearing no pants and masturbated before following her for a short time.

He approached her on two separate occasions with pants pulled down and again masturbated in front of her.

It is believed the same man, wearing no shoes, called out to a woman walking south along St Albans Road from the railway station on 7 July about 12.30am.

He exposed himself and masturbated before the woman ran off, the male following her before he stopped at a service station on the corner of St Albans Road and Percy Street.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian or European in appearance, aged 20 to 30-years-old with short dark hair and a beard.

He was wearing a dark hooded jumper with light coloured sleeves and three-quarter tan coloured pants and no shoes during the incident in June.

Investigators have released images of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
