Homicide Squad detectives are investigating following the death of a male in Sunshine this afternoon.
Police were called to Station Place about 3.45pm after reports a male had been stabbed.
The 16-year-old Melton South male was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 16-year-old Sunshine North male was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
