Police investigate suspicious behaviour at West Beach, South Australia

Police are investigating a report of suspicious behaviour at West Beach, and have released an image of a person of interest in the matter.

About 11.50am on Friday 19 April, police were called to an area on Military Road after reports that a young girl had been approached by a man who asked her to walk away with him. The girl's mother intervened, and the man walked away.

The victim was not injured or threatened.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 60-70 years old, 182cm tall, athletic build, with a white beard and white hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a white short-sleeved button-up shirt that had faint checkered lines and cream-coloured cargo shorts.
