Police are investigating following a house fire in Dandenong North this morning, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to 36 Neasham Drive just before 3am after a passer-by raised the alarm.
The single storey house was extensively damaged and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
The occupants of the house were not home at the time of the fire.
A police guard will remain at the address until later in the morning when an arson chemist will examine the scene.
