Police investigate suspicious fire - Glebe

Police are appealing for information following a suspicious fire in Glebe overnight.

Just after 12.30am (Wednesday 29 September 2021), emergency services were called to a café on Glebe Point Road following reports of a fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, with the café sustaining minor damage. No one was injured.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.

As part of inquiries, police would like to speak to four males who they believe may be able to assist.

All the males are described as wearing tracksuits, three with grey hoodies and one with a black hoodie.

The fire is being treated as suspicious.
