Police are investigating a suspicious house fire at Mowbray yesterday, Tasmania Police say.
Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police Service attended a house fire on Vermont Road, Mowbray, about 1:00pm.
The unoccupied residence sustained non-structural damage to the interior. Damage is estimated to be around $50,000.
Tasmania Fire Service Investigators have determined the fire to have been deliberately lit and police are now investigating.
Suspects are described as being two men aged in their late teens – one with blonde hair, wearing a black cap and carrying a back pack, the other having red hair.
