Police are investigating a suspicious house fire that occurred in the state's northeast.
Shortly after 9pm on Friday (22 November 2019), emergency services responded to reports of a house fire on Green Street, West Tamworth.
Officers from Oxley Police District attended and established a crime scene.
Police believe the fire may have been deliberately lit and are urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact Tamworth Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police inquiries are continuing.
