Police investigate suspicious house fire - Castle Hill

Police are investigating a suspicious house fire in Sydney's north-west overnight.

About 12.30am (Wednesday 18 August 2021), emergency services were called to Blackett Drive, Castle Hill, following reports of a house fire.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command and Fire and Rescue NSW attended and found a house well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, however the house, which is currently not occupied, was completely destroyed.

A crime scene has been established, and police are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, which is being treated as suspicious.
