Police investigate theft of whiskey in Shepparton

Police are investigating a theft from a liquor store in Shepparton on Friday, 4 July, Victoria Police say.

It is believed a male entered the Wyndham Street business about 1.40pm.

The man then allegedly selected a bottle of spirits from a shelf and placed it in his jacket.

He then walked back to the entry point of the store and left without paying.

The male has been described as being in his 20s, with a fair complexion, facial hair, a slim build, and short dark hair.

He was wearing a black and red jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, a white cap, and dark coloured shoes.

Police have released images of the man in the hope someone may recognise him.
