Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating an armed robbery at a business on High Street in Thornbury this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is believed four armed males with facial coverings entered the store just after 11am armed before stealing a number of firearms.
They fled in a stolen vehicle that was found dumped a short time later on Clapham Street in Thornbury.
The male staff member was not physically injured during the incident and no arrests have been made at this stage.
