Police are appealing for witnesses following a head-on collision on the Tullamarine Freeway this morning (26 September), Victoria Police say.
It is believed a white BMW had been travelling towards the city on the wrong side of the freeway when it collided with a black SUV heading north shortly after 12am.
The incident happened close to the Flemington Road exit.
Both the BMW driver, a 25-year-old Keilor East man, and the driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old Craigieburn man, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The extent of their injuries is not known at this stage.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
