Police investigate two business burglaries in Southern Tasmania overnight

Police are investigating two separate business burglaries in Southern Tasmania overnight, Tasmania Police say.

A large quantity of cigarettes was stolen from the Bangalee Street Store, Lauderdale, with damage to the front of the business occurring about midnight last night.

Damage was also caused to New Norfolk Mowers and Cycles in Hamilton St, New Norfolk, about 1am when offenders attempted to gain entry to the front of the building.

Anyone with information should call Glenorchy CIB on 131444 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
