Police investigate Wheelers Hill burglary

Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary in Wheelers Hill last week.

Police understand the Mary Avenue home was broken into between 8.45am and 9.10 am on 8 May.

A male offender stole jewellery and cash along with a wallet containing credit cards.

It's believed the man also attempted to steal a Mazda 3 Sedan which was parked in the garage.

Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

He is described as Caucasian, a thin build, dark hair and a bandage on his right hand and pinky finger.

He was wearing black tracksuit pants, a black hooded jumper, black vest, white beanie and sunglasses.
