Police are investigating an armed robbery at Edensor Park overnight.
Just before midnight (Saturday 11 May 2019), a man entered a service station on Cowpasture Road and threatened a female employee.
The man demanded money before taking cash and cigarettes and was last seen running away.
Police were alerted and officers from Fairfield Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which is being forensically examined.
No one was physically injured.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing for public assistance to identify and locate the man involved.
He is described as having a medium build and was wearing dark clothing with his face covered.
