Police investigating after brawl at Parramatta

An investigation is underway after a brawl left three men injured in Sydney's west yesterday.

Just before 10pm (Sunday 13 June 2021), emergency services were called to Parkes St, Parramatta, following reports of a brawl.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were told an unknown man exited a vehicle outside a licensed premises on Parkes St, before punching another man in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.

Two groups of men were then involved in a physical altercation, before security staff from the licensed premises separated the groups.

Most of the individuals involved had dispersed by the time police arrived.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation commenced into circumstances surrounding the incident.

A 34-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a with a laceration on his head, before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

A 39-year-old man and a 43-year-old man refused medical assistance for minor facial injuries.
