Police investigating after man shot - Warwick Farm

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Sydney's west overnight.

Just before 9pm (Saturday 8 August 2020), emergency services were called to a unit complex on Lachlan Street, Warwick Farm, following reports of a shooting.

Police have been told a 33-year-old man was driving from the location when shots were fired into his vehicle.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to his arm. His passenger, a 22-year-old woman, was uninjured.

About 9.05pm (Saturday 8 August 2020), the man attended Liverpool Hospital where he is undergoing surgery for his injury.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command have established a crime scene at the unit complex and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
