Police making inquiries following an alleged pursuit and crash in Sydney's south.
About 9.40pm yesterday (Thursday 23 October 2025), officers attached to Sutherland Highway Patrol attempted to stop a vehicle travelling on Alfreds Point Road, Menai.
When the vehicle allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.
The vehicle travelled along Menai Road for a short time before crashing into a bus.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated the driver – a 17-year-old boy – and four passengers – a 17-year-old boy, two men aged 18 and 20, and a 20-year-old woman – for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the bus and six passengers were uninjured.
Police established a crime scene and inquiries into the crash are underway.
