An investigation is underway following a serious crash in Lower McDonald, near Wisemans Ferry yesterday.
About 3.30pm (Wednesday 25 September 2019), a Toyota Landcruiser collided with a motorcycle on Settlers Road, Lower Macdonald.
Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene.
The 76-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in critical condition with lower leg and internal injuries. His condition is now listed as serious.
The 24-year-old female driver of the Landcruiser was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
A crime scene was established; and the scene was examined by officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit.
A full investigation is now underway.
