Police Investigating Aggravated Armed Robbery At Dominos Pizza in Devonport, TAS

Police are investigating an aggravated armed robbery at Dominos Pizza in Devonport last night where a female staff member received a non-life threatening stab wound, Tasmania Police say.

Around 10.35pm two women entered the pizza store on the corner of William and Best Streets armed with a knife and stole the till from the cash register.

The 21-year-old female staff member received a stab wound to her arm and was conveyed to the North West Regional Hospital for medical treatment.

Following information provided by witnesses at the scene, police have taken two Devonport women into custody for interview today.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw two females running in the Oldaker Street area around the time of the incident is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
