Police are investigating the circumstances which led to a 25-year-old Rocherlea man presenting to the Launceston General Hospital around 12.30pm today with a non-life threatening gun shot wound to his foot, Tasmania Police say.
The matter is under Investigations and police have not ruled out the possibility that the wound was self-inflicted.
Anyone with information in relation to how the man sustained the injury is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
