Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle crash on the Midland Highway, Launceston this evening.
Tasmania Police and emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 7:30 pm, arriving to find one person, the sole occupant, trapped inside the vehicle. They were extricated and provided medical treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Crash investigators remain at the scene, and some southbound traffic diversions are in place.
