Police are investigating after two public place shootings were reported in Sydney's west this morning.
About 1am today (Friday 17 October 2025), emergency services were called to a home on Bluegum Avenue, Prestons, following reports shots were fired.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command arrived to find unknown people had fired at least two shots at a home before leaving the scene in a car.
About 1.20am today (Friday 17 October 2025), emergency services were called to Greenway Drive, West Hoxton, following reports of shots fired.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command arrived to find unknown people had fired at least two shots into the air at a roundabout, before leaving the scene in a car.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Police have established a crime scene at both locations and Liverpool City detectives have commenced an investigation into the incidents.
