Police are investigating a two car crash at Acacia Hills near Devonport last night, Tasmania Police say.
At 5.20pm, emergency services responded to a crash at Cornwall and Sheffield Roads between a white Mitsubishi Triton ute and a red Ford Falcon.
One person was trapped in the utility and required extraction by emergency services. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to transport the 27-year-old Port Sorell man to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition.
Crash Investigation Services attended the scene and are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash.
