Police are investigating a wounding incident in Albany Creek this evening, 13 August.
At 8.15pm police were called to Albany Creek Road following reports of an altercation between two teenage boys outside a restaurant, during which one of the boys sustained lacerations to his abdomen from a knife.
A 16- year-old boy was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy at the scene, and he is currently assisting police with inquiries.
Investigations are ongoing and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
