Queensland Police are investigating after an alleged wounding at New Farm last night, December 8.
Initial investigations indicate around 7:30pm, emergency services were called to a Heal Street address following reports of a man with a stab wound to the neck.
The 44-year-old local man was transported in a serious but stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
A crime scene was declared at the property and investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who have witnessed anything suspicious, or may have any relevant CCTV/dashcam footage, to come forward.
