Police from The Hills Local Area Command are warning owners to ensure their vehicles are secured following a spate of break-ins at Kellyville over the weekend, NSW Police say.
Between Friday (2 February 2018) and Saturday (3 February 2018), a number of Toyota motor vehicles were broken into overnight and personal items, including garage remote controls stolen.
The Hills Local Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Chief Inspector Jim Bilton, said owners are being warned not to leave personal items in vehicles.
"Owners should minimise the risk by ensuring personal items, including garage remote control in vehicles parked in driveways or on the street," Detective Chief Inspector Bilton said.
"We encourage all residents to report suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods. Take time to record details of suspicious people or vehicles including a physical description and clothing or the make, model, colour or registration number of the vehicle and pass on that information to Police."
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
