Police Lay Armed Robbery Charges At Holland Park

A man has been charged following an armed robbery in Holland Park on Thursday, 27 August.

At approximately 10.45am, police received reports of a man in a pink tracksuit and white balaclava stealing items from a business address on Logan Road.

It will be alleged the man entered the business armed with a knife, made threats to staff and allegedly stole prescription medication along with a quantity of money before fleeing the scene.

Following further inquiries, officers from the Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a 23-year-old Oxenford man at around 2.40pm at a nearby address on Logan Road.

He has been charged with one count of robbery armed, along with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, contravention of domestic violence order and possess utensils of pipes.

He appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court on 28 August.
