Police lay charges after attempted service station robbery - Longueville

A man will face court today after an attempted robbery at a Longueville service station

Police were called to the Northwood Road premises shortly after 3pm yesterday (Monday 2 September 2019).

A service station employee sustained minor injuries during the incident.

A man and woman were arrested a short time later.

A 31-year-old man was charged with shoplifting (x2), offensive conduct, robbery, driving whilst suspended and possessing a prohibited drug.

He was refused bail and will appear at Hornsby Local Court today (Tuesday 3 September 2019).

A 23-year-old woman was issued with a court attendance notice for possessing a prescribed restricted substance. She will appear at Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 25 September 2019.
