Police lay charges after death of man in Dandenong South

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following a death in Dandenong South on 4 September.

Police were called to a caravan park on South Gippsland Highway following reports of an altercation between several people about 10pm.

A 41-year-old man was located with life-threatening stab wounds and died at the scene.

A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital under police guard for a non-life-threatening injury and has this evening been charged with murder.

The Dandenong South man has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
