Police lay charges after stabbing in Dandenong

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a stabbing in Dandenong on 28 October.

It's alleged a man produced a sharp item during a fight at a bus stop on Clow Street.

The teenager attempted to stop the fight between his friend and the offender when he was allegedly stabbed by the man.

The Dandenong teenager was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 38-year-old Frankston North man has been charged with intentionally cause injury.

He has been bailed to appear in Frankston Magistrates' Court on 27February.
