Northern Territory Police have charged a 48-year-old man in relation to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Friday 24 July 2020.
Detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. The 48-year-old man, along with a 48-year-old female passenger remain admitted in Katherine Hospital.
The deceased passenger is yet to be formally identified however, it is believed to be a 38-year-old woman.
The man has been charged with;
- drive motor vehicle cause death
- breach of domestic violence order
He was remanded in custody and due to appear in Katherine Local Court tomorrow morning. Further charges are expected to be laid.
