Police lay charges over break-ins - Warriewood and Pymble

A man will appear in court today charged over the alleged break-ins of two homes in Warriewood and Pymble.

About 9.45am on Thursday 22 August 2019, a female occupant saw an unknown man in the kitchen of her Pymble home. The man claimed he had a chlorine delivery, became agitated and walked out empty-handed via the rear patio.

Police were notified and commenced investigations.

About 7am yesterday (Sunday 25 August 2019), witnesses from within a housing estate saw a man knocking on doors asking if people had seen his lost dog.

The man was seen to climb on the roof of a home on Cherry Lane, Warriewood, where he allegedly removed a fly screen. The man was unable to gain access to the property and left via a side gate.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command attended and found a 38-year-old man in the backyard of a home at Warriewood.

The Belrose man was taken to Manly Police Station and charged with enter building/land with intent to commit an indictable offence (x2).

He was refused bail to appear at Manly Local Court today (Monday 26 August 2019).
