Police lay charges over unlawful entry in Darwin 5 April

Northern Territory Police have charged a 16-year old male following an unlawful entry at a business in Fannie Bay this morning.

Police arrested four youths who allegedly stole a motor vehicle in Rosebery before being involved in the unlawful entry at a supermarket.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident have charged the 16-year-old with:

  • 1 x Damage property
  • 1 x Unlawful Entry - Building
  • 1 x Stealing
  • 1 x Aggravated Unlawful Use Motor Vehicle
  • 1 x Breach of order suspended sentence
  • 1 x Fail to comply with Youth Court Order

He has been remanded in custody to appear in court tomorrow.

A 14-year-old has been summonsed to appear at a later date and two youths aged 15 and 16 will be subject to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 2005.
