Police lay murder charge at Corinda

Inala Child Protection Investigation Unit (CPIU) has charged an 18-year-old Inala man following investigations into the death of an 11-month-old girl.

The child passed away in the Queensland Children's Hospital on February 5 after being revived by QAS on February 1 at a Corinda address.

Inala CPIU and State Crime Command's Child Trauma Unit conducted a joint homicide investigation over the past three weeks, which included establishing a crime scene in Corinda over the last week.

The 18-year-old man was known to the child and will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
