Police locate 3-year-old boy in Melton

Police are appealing for public assistance to help reunite a 3-year-old boy who was found in Melton last night with his parents, Victoria Police say.

Investigators were called to Marina Drive after residents found the 3-year-old boy in their front yard about 10pm.

Police have conducted a door knock in the area however have been unable to track down the young boy’s family.

The 3-year-old boy is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was found wearing a t-shirt with a toucan on the front with blue sleeves and a white back, white socks and a nappy.

Police have described the boy as being softly spoken and happy.

He has been unable to tell police his name or his parent’s names.
