Police make arrest after burglary at Cheltenham gaming venue

A man has been arrested following a burglary at a gaming venue in Cheltenham on Sunday 1 August.

Police have been told offenders allegedly attended the venue on Centre Dandenong Road and smashed the rear glass door, gaining entry about 6.30am and stealing a large amount of cash.

A 47-year-old Noble Park man has been charged with burglary, theft, handle stolen good and breaching bail.

He has been remanded to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
