Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged four males and recovered three stolen vehicles following a spate of aggravated burglaries overnight.
Investigators allege a property on Wattle Valley Road, Canterbury was broken into about 1.05am on 5 February and a Porsche Cayenne was stolen.
About 1.30 am it is alleged offender/s attempted to break into a property on Victoria Avenue, Canterbury.
The offender/s were unsuccessful and left.
At about 1.40am it is thought the same group attended an address on Mont Albert Road, Canterbury about 1.40am, broke into the property.
It is alleged the group stole several items including the keys to a Porsche and a BMW.
They then attempted to steal both cars but the resident was woken by the vehicles starting and confronted the offenders.
They failed to steal the BMW and all drove off in the Porsche.
Around 8am it is alleged the same group broke into a property on Tulliallan Boulevard, Cranbourne.
They stole the keys to a Maserati and drove off in the car.
It was spotted driving erratically in Mt Eliza a short time later and police were called.
The area was searched and two 18-year-old men from Frankston and a 23-year-old man from Seaford were arrested.
A 17-year-old boy from Frankston area handed himself into police a short time later.
They have all been charged with home invasion, theft of motor vehicle, theft, aggravated burglary and attempted theft of motor vehicle.
All stolen vehicles have been recovered.
