Police Make Arrests After Disturbance At Golden Grove

Two people have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing following a violent disturbance at Golden Grove last night.

Police were called to a car park on The Golden Way, Golden Grove about 10.30pm on Saturday 27 September by reports of an altercation.

During the incident, it will be alleged that a man was struck by a vehicle and sustained a leg injury.

The 24-year-old man from Greenwith was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Following investigations, police attended a Holden Hill address and arrested the two occupants.

A 24-year-old Holden Hill woman was charged with cause harm by dangerous driving and fail to stop and render assistance after a crash.

She was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 6 November. She has been issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence.

A 24-year-old Holden Hill man was charged with property damage and bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 3 November.

A vehicle was towed for forensic examination.

Police spoke to numerous people at the scene of the altercation and investigations are continuing.
