Strike Force Trident has arrested four offenders in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Karama overnight.
Around 12:30am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that four male youths had allegedly threatened a 24-year-old male before stealing his motor vehicle at a shopping mall in Karama.
The victim had been on a phone call in his car in the carpark when he was approached by the males who were all wearing hoodies.
One youth allegedly revealed an edged weapon and demanded the victim hand over his vehicle.
The victim left the vehicle and the four offenders fled the scene in the Toyota Camry.
Trident members responded and observed the vehicle enter and park in the carpark of an oval in Wulagi before all offenders fled the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized and all four offenders including two 13-year-old males, a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were arrested at 7:10am with charges expected to follow.
